This is my final draft of my peacock print picture. I thought this project was really hard because it took a really long time to cut out all the lines in the rubber. Doing every detail was difficult because the tools were really small but it was really hard to cut really small pieces off at one time. I worked hard on trying to portray each feather correctly and making them all the same.

This is my print texture rough draft of a peacock before I put it onto my lino cut and use the tool to cut out all the shapes. Texture is super important in the project because if theres no texture then it will end up coming out as a black blob on your final project. Its important to have several references so you can make sure you get all the texture into your picture. I chose the peacock because when I looked at it I saw that it had the most textures because of the feathers and that it would be the best choice.

This picture is from the interactive chalk project. At the beginning of this project we had to sit down as a group and figure out what we were going to draw on the wall that people could interact with. This was difficult because either someone had lots of ideas or someone would have no ideas at all. Once we decided on the "Roasting Marshmallow" idea we had to figure out exactly how we were going to draw it. As a team we kind of split up the different parts of the pictures so we could get things done faster but everyone had something to do. Like for me, my job was to draw the trees with the chalk and the pastels. I think this project was successful because it showed the ups and downs of working in a team but it was also really fun. I like creating artwork that others can interact with because its more than just something people can look at and its like the artwork comes to life.
