This is me drawing my value portrait. This picture is cool cause it actually shows me executing the drawing and looking at the actual picture and trying to copy it on my own. I loved this project cause it was really challenging but it was cool because I got to see my work grow through the process. When I first started I thought it was going to turn out really bad but as it grew, I got excited because it actually looked like it was supposed too.
This is my value portrait of Daniel Kalish. This project was really hard because not only is it difficult to draw someones face, but its also difficult to get the shading perfect to match the picture. I worked really hard trying to portray all the lines and shapes in his face to match the picture I was given. I enjoyed this project a lot because i thought it was challenging and helped experience the value chart better than just drawing it. Also, it showed my improvement in the class already, even though i've only been in Mr. Sands class for a few weeks. I hope you enjoy my art!

In art one we did stations, and at each station we drew something else. At this specific station we were drawing things from the beach. I chose to draw a shell. The shell was difficult cause it had lots of detail but all the detail was small. I enjoyed this because I got to kind of interpret the way we wanted to draw the shell and I didn't have to draw it spot on.
This is my picture of Rufus the naked mole rat from the disney show Kim Possible. I worked really hard making sure I drew every bone, rib, and vertebrate perfectly to show what his skeleton would look like. This project was really cool and challenging, so I hope you enjoy.
